Youth MOVE National currently has a chapter appliation process that is as follows:
Approvals for chapter status are given twice a year: in the spring and in the fall. These dates usually fall in April and October, although this is not set in stone. Depending on the amount and availability of the membership committee to review applications, this can flucuate to any point within the designated time periods. For example, spring applications can be reviewed anytime between April 1st and April 30th. We will always notify those inquiring chapter status when they should get their applcation in by to ensure review of it. Currently, applications are scheduled to be reviewed October 13th.
Applications can be filled out either online or on a printable copy which can be found in various areas of our website. For your convenience, we have provided the application below. Applications need to postmarked or entered into our online system no later than by COB on the date in bold above.

There are two things you should keep in mind when filling out the application for chapter status:
Your youth group must follow a few guidelines in order for your application be reviewed. Most of these are outlined in the application. A few tips to remember when filling out the application:
Your youth group should be established on some kind of level. While your youth group doesn't have to have it's own governance board yet, nor does it have to be sustainable to the fullest, it must have been active for a while. We look for potential youth groups who align with our mission and vision and have adopted the youth-guided approach to becoming change agents and showcase a strive to want to become active in their communities. This can be done by noting accomplishments your youth group may have acheived or work you have done in your communities.
What does your youth group want to acheive by becoming a youth move chapter? Many youth groups become a chapter so that they can obtain the TA needed to help sustain and grow their youth group. This should be reflected in your application. We want to see youth groups that are learning to grow each day as they acheive their goals and dreams. A strong application will show these qualities.
Notifications of chapter acceptance or rejection will be sent by email to the designated person in the application no later than 3 weeks after approval.
