Want your art featured on a national platform? Your work can be showcased in a digital exhibit in conjunction with Mental Health Awareness Day 2017

Artists, listen up! Youth MOVE National is partnering with the American Art Therapy Association (AATA) and Head Start to sponsor I Am a Work of Art, an original art showcase that celebrates the important role of art and creativity in mental health and wellness. The digital exhibit will be shown in conjunction with National Children's Mental Health Awareness Day on May 4, 2017. We're inviting all youth and young adults, ages 3 to 25, to submit original artwork that addresses both the "I Am a Work of Art" theme for this specialized exhibit as well as Awareness Day's focus on the link between behavioral and physical health.

All of the artwork will be combined into a national digital art collection which will be available to view online at AATA's website in April and May 2017. In addition, selected pieces from the collection will be showcased during the national event in Washington, DC.

You have until February 6, 2017, to submit your original pieces of artwork to be considered for the exhibit. We can't wait to see what you'll come up with!
